OVERCOMING COVID-19

Each Sunday Service will be streamed on Facebook Live at 10 a.m., and later in the day it will be on the Salem website (https://www.salemevangelicallutheran.church and the Salem You Tube channel.  It will also be shown on the Blue Valley Channel 3 cable channel at 2 p.m. Sunday.   Please stay safe and protect yourselves and others.

We have restarted in-person worship services, and they are on Sundays beginning at 10 AM.  We are not mandated in our county to wear protective masks, but if your choose to wear a mask that is your choice  and your choice to maintain social distancing.  We will continue to observe Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at the Altar.      

Worship Services are streamed on Salem Lutheran, Axtell KS Facebook live at 10 AM Sundays and available on this website on the "Video's and Bulletin's" link above.    

1.  If your choose to wear a mask that is your choice  and your choice to maintain social distancing.  It is not for you as much as for others.  

2. If you choose, you should practice social distancing within the Church. 

3. Communion will be at the communion rail with family group distancing but you may remain in the pews to be served communion from the Pastor.  Please make arrangements with the Pastor before the service begins.   

4. I am open to visit with anyone, at anytime.  Call and let me know if you are comfortable with having visits made.  

Friends, this has been difficult to navigate who to believe, what advice do we take.  We are working to make the best decisions for everyone.  I, like you, am working every day to be back to "normal".  God's Peace, Pastor Cindy    

We will also gather for adult Sunday School (normally from 9 to 9:45 AM), in the adult Sunday School room, practicing social distancing.  Please continue to choose to gather here online and participate in Pastor Cindy's Video Worship Services on Facebook Live filmed during the Sunday morning Service.   Click on the Live button by 9:55 to be ready for the Sunday 10 AM online service.  

You will continue to see the Worship video files loaded to https://www.salemevangelicallutheran.church in the "Worship Video's/Bulletins" pages by the next day, and on the Salem Lutheran, Axtell KS YouTube channel, online on your schedule. 

Also, we encourage you to view and listen to the Monday evening (Genesis) and Wednesday evening (Revelations) Bible study video's presented by Salem Lutheran's Pastor Cindy Cone.    They are loaded in date order in the "Bible Study Video" page above.
